Do you have a melody you can’t get out of your head, or lyrics scribbled on a napkin that deserve to be heard? The Parksville Community Centre is excited to welcome you to our brand-new Songwriters Circle — a warm, supportive space where original voices come together to create, collaborate, and grow.

Leading the circle is Gerry Barnum, a successful and well-loved local singer-songwriter who brings both talent and heart to everything he does. Gerry’s experience and passion for the craft make this a truly special opportunity to learn, share, and be inspired by someone who knows what it takes to bring a song to life.

Whether you’re working on your very first verse or polishing a song you’ve been crafting for years, this is your place. Bring what you’ve got — a chorus, a chord progression, even just an idea — and receive genuine encouragement and feedback from Gerry and fellow music lovers.

🗓 When: Last Friday of every month, starting May 29th, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM 📍 Where: Parksville Community Centre, 223 Mills St, Room #109 ☕ Coffee and tea will be on!

Admission by donation:

• $5 for PCC Members
• $10 suggested for non-members (PCC Membership is just $10/year — a great deal!)
